Biography
Personal – Shay was born and raised in Fresno...She is the daughter of Scott and Rene Sample…She has one young brother…She enjoys snowboarding and watching the San Diego Chargers…She also plays for the Fusion Soccer Club during the off-season…Shay is a Communications major and wants to someday work for ESPN.
Prior to FPU – Shay earned her letters playing for the Eagles of Clovis West High School...She was a three-year starter…She was named to the second team All League in her sophomore year, first team her junior year, and ended her career as second team All Valley and Defensive Player of the Year in TRAC.
