Personal - Jessica was born in Turlock, CA but calls Ceres, CA her home...She is the daughter of Steve and Shelly Mazza...She has two sisters and a brother...Her favorite teams are the San Francisco 49ers and SF Giants...She has traveled to Fiji...Her hobbies include camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, and mountain-biking...Her home church is Big Valley Grace Church in Modesto...Jessica is a Kinesiology major with a Coaching minor...Her career goal is to become a PE teacher and a personal trainer.

Prior to FPU - Jessica is a graduate of Ceres High School...Her coaches were Shawna Nunes and Phil DeLaporte...Her basketball team made the playoffs every year and won the Division Two Northern Championship in her junior year...She was named MVP and Athlete of the Week in her senior year...She was the MVP of two tournaments...In addition to basketball, Jessica participated in volleyball and track.

As a freshman (2006) - Jessica played in 30 games including 22 starts...She averaged 20 minutes per game...She shot 38.5 percent from the field and 50 percent from the arc...She averaged 2.7 rebounds and 5.6 points per game.

As a sophomore (2007) - Jessica played in 30 games including 17 starts...She averaged 21.6 minutes per game...She shot 41.3 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from the arc and 60.9 percent from the line...She also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 6.2 points per game.

As a junior (2008) - Jessica played in 27 of the Sunbirds' 28 games...She shot 42% from the field, 33% from beyond the arc, and hit 70% of her free throws...Jessica averaged 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 7.7 points per game...She had 45 steals over the course of the season, the most on the team...Jessica also finished the season with 88 rebounds and 67 assists.
