Prior to FPU - Prepped at Madera South High School and spent two years on the varsity team under head coach Eloy Quintana....Clovis East Carnival 1600m record holder....West Coast Relays 3200m seeded record holder....played volleyball for two seasons....took part in various theater events as well....won gold at the technical Olympics at the Lenaea Festival....multiple stagehand awards....4.0 award in high school.

Personal - Son of Angela and Gerardo Garcia....has three siblings named David, Emily (twin) and Ryan....greatest sports thrill in his career was running in Montana at the NCAA Regional cross country meet....person he most admires is his dad....enjoys watching The Flash....his good friend, Nicholas Hernandez, runs at Embry Riddle (Arizona)....hobbies include volleyball and theater....attends The Well Community Church....Seth is a history major with career goals to become a high school teacher.
