As a Junior (2019) – a solid third year on the FPU distance squad saw him set personal records in the 5000m (15:33.19), 1500m (4:10.58) and 3000m (8:58.44) over the course of the season.

As a Sophomore (2018) – recorded a lifetime best in the 10,000m with a 33:40.09 finish at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational….set a personal record 9:58.32 in the two mile at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival.

As a Freshman (2017) - season highlights came at the San Francisco State Carnival, where he placed ninth in the two mile (10:06.31) and 20th in the mile (4:40.03).

Prior to FPU - Spent four years on the varsity cross country team at Shafter High School under head coach Jordan Lewis....also wrestled for one year and won the league title.

Personal - Son of Blanca Robles....favorite movie is Pursuit of Happyness....person he most admires is his Mom....also admires athlete Mo Farah....hobbies include playing guitar and drums....Manuel is a biology major who plans on becoming a physician.
