Prior to FPU- Threw for coach Brian Weaver at Buchanan High School...two year varsity athlete...member of TRAC championship team....best throw in discus was 128'....best throw in shot put was 36'....also played softball and was the team's offensive MVP.
Personal- Born May 24, 1992...parents are Mike and Carol Smith...has one sister, Abby...favorite movies are the Princess Diaries 1 & 2...favorite book is The Fault In Our Stars....people she most admires are Director of Athletics Leslie Schuemann and the FPU sports information staff....favorite athlete is Melissa Claycomb....attends Bethany Church....Courtney is a kinesiology major....she serves as president of the FPU student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC).
