Biography
As a Junior (2018) – scored for Team FPU at the PacWest Championships, where she took fifth in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.25m….other season highlights included a second place finish at the Sunbird Invitational, where she cleared a career best 3.50m.
As a Sophomore (2017) - recorded points for FPU at the PacWest Championships with a fourth-place finish in the pole vault (3.32m)….logged a season-best vault at the Bulldog Invitational when she cleared 3.35m….at the Kim Duyst Invitational, took second in the pole vault, clearing 10’0”.
As a Freshman (2016) - Academic All-PacWest....broke the school record in the pole vault in her first career meet....broke her own school record by clearing 11' 6" in the pole vault at the Westmont Sunshine Open (2/6)....placed third at the PacWest Championships (3.24m, 10'6").
Prior to FPU - Spent three seasons on the varsity team at John H. Pitman High School under head coach Thad Moren....part of the CCC championship team....cleared 10 feet in the pole vault, with a personal best of 10'2''....also competed on the tennis team for two seasons.
Personal - Daughter of Gary and Becky Austin....has one sibling, Avery....favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama...listens to Josh Turner....favorite food is spaghetti....enjoys photography as a hobby....favorite athlete is Sandi Morris....attends Crosspoint Community Church....Allie is a psychology major with career plans to become a school psychologist.
