As a Sophomore (2013-14) – Specialized in freestyle and butterfly events....He swam in four individual events at the PCSC Championship meet: 500 free, 1650 free, 100 fly and 200 fly…He won the 200 fly (1:50.07) and 1650 free (15:34.03), posting the second fastest time in school history in the latter…His 100 fly (49.50) is tied for the fourth fastest in school history…He placed second in the 500 free (4:29.71), his preliminary time (4:28.91) is the fastest in school history…His 1000 split (9:25.25) during his championship race in the 1650 free was the second fastest in school history…His preliminary swim in the 200 fly (1:48.85) is the fastest time in school history…Was a member of the PCSC second place 400 free relay....Swam a personal best in the 400 IM (4:14.98) against UC Santa Cruz..

As a Freshman (2012-13) - Competed in six events through his first season for the Sunbirds (500 free, 1,000 free, 1,650 free, 200 butterfly, 200 IM, and 800 free relay)...Had his fastest 200 individual medley (1:58.51) against Biola...Fastest 500 time of 4:31.93 at the PCSC Championships, finishing fifth at the meet placing him fourth on the school records...Primarily a distance free swimmer, his best time in the 1,000 free (9:52.02) came against Pacific and UC Santa Clara, good for second place...In the 1,650 free, he clocked a season best 15:42.52 at the PCSC Championships, finishing second at the meet and second on the school records...took fourth in the 200 butterfly (1:51.39) at the PCSC Championships, placing him fifth on the school records...At the same meet, he anchored the A-final 800 free relay the A-final with a time of 6:37.77, placing second at the PCSC Championships and breaking the school record.   

Prior to FPU - Wesley was homeschooled up until college.

Personal - Born December 26, 1993....he is the son of David and Kelli Coles....he has three sibilings, Jared, Rachel and Jesse....his greatest sports thrill thus far is competing at the 2011 summer junior nationals in the 200 butterfly....his favorite food is 'In-N-Out'....his hobbies include playing guitar....he attends Lindsay First Baptisit Church....he is a Graphic Arts major.
