Biography
Prior to FPU - Paul is a graduate of Leavenworth High School...He swam for three years and was team captain as a junior...He was named All Sunflower League and All State.....Three-time state finalist in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle.
Personal - Paul was born in Ft. Irwin, CA but calls Leavenworth, KS his home...His parents are Jeffrey and Helen Lochow...He has an older brother, Andrew, who swam for Colorado School of Mines....Greatest sports thrill was winning NAIA Nationals as a sophomore at FPU....Paul is a Pre-Health major...His career goal is to become a medical doctor or dentist.
As a Freshman (2008) - Paul
was part of the 2008 men's team that took Runner-Up at the NAIA Swimming and Diving Championship...He totaled 26 points at Nationals, including a 5th place finish in the 1650 Yard Freestyle final...Paul was also named NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.
As a sophomore: Paul was a part of the 2010 NAIA national championship men’s team…At Nationals, he totaled 35 points in individual events, finishing seventh in the 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle and eighth in the 400 Individual Medley.
