Biography
As a Freshman (2018-19) – at the PCSC Championships, took 10th overall in the 100 IM with a time of 1:00.87….contributed to FPU’s dual meet sweep of UC Santa Cruz with third place finishes in the 50 free (25.90) and 200 free (2:01.86).
Prior to FPU - Prepped at Brookwood High School....four-time relay All-American.
Personal - Daughter of Beatrice and Gary Taylor....her brother Alex currently swims at Kentucky....person she most admires is her mom....favorite food is a veggie burger....enjoys watching North by Northwest....favorite book is America's Women by Gail Collins....Leila is a communication major with an emphasis on film and multimedia production with career goals of winning an Oscar.
