As a Senior (2013-14) - Redshirt season.

As a Junior (2012-13) - Was the 2013 PCSC Champion in the 100 backstroke (56.40) placing her second in school records...Finished 13th in the 50 freestyle (24.08) and 12th in the 100 freestyle (52.82)...Also was part of four relays; fifth place 400 freestyle (3:31.63), fourth place 200 freestyle (1:13.21), third place 400 medley (3:50.57) and third place 200 medley (1:44.96). 

As a Sophomore (2011-12) - Had a strong performance at the PCSC Championships swimming in three individual events and three relays...Finished tenth in the 50 freestyle (24.54), 100 freestyle (55.90) and a 13th place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:01.64)...Was part of the second place finishing 200 freestyle relay (1:35.09) and lead off swimmer in the 200 medley (1:47.28) and 400 medley (4:20.26) relays...Swam three individual events at the NAIA Championships; 50 freestyle (23.68) placing fourth, 100 freestyle (52.54) placing seventh and 100 backstroke (57.29) placing third...She added her name to the school's records with her performance in the 100 free final and her preliminary swim in the 50 free (23.66)...Was part of three relays at the same meet; 200 medley (1:41.40), 200 freestyle (1:32.90) and 400 freestyle (3:25.81)...The three relays won their respective events and set school records for each event as well. 

As a Freshman (2010-11) - Had a strong mis-season performance at the UNLV Invitational swimming the 50 free (24.46), 100 free (54.53) and 100 backstroke (57.84)...Competed the same three individual events at the PCSC Championships...Swam the 50 free (25.59) finishing 17th, 100 free (55.66) and 100 backstroke (1:00.59) finishing seventh...Also swam on three relays; 200 medley (1:49.85) placing fourth, 200 free (1:39.36) placing fourth and 400 medley (4:04.90) placing seventh...Continued to swim well at the NAIA Championships...Competed in three individual events; 50 free (24.34) finishing seventh, 100 free (54.68) and 100 backstroke (57.78) placing second...Was part of three relays; 200 medley (1:44.93) finishing third, 400 medley (3:50.43) finishing third and 400 freestyle (3:36.36) finishing sixth. 

Prior to FPU - Katie is a graduate of Mount Whitney High School....she swam four years and was named most improved. 

Personal - Born September 14, 1992....daughter of Forrest and Kathy Brown....she has two brothers named Christian and Austin....her greatest sports thrill thus far is winning the NAIA National Championship in 2011....she chose Fresno Pacific for the community, the coaching staff and the quality Christian education....the person she admires the most is her dad....her favorite food is pasta and rice....her favorite TV shows are "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette"....her favorite athlete is Ryan Lochte....she attends Gateway Church....she is a Psychology major with plans of becoming a therapist.
