As a Sophomore (2019-20) - Competed in 10 meets … At the PCSC Championships, swam in the 200 breast (2:03.89, good enough for 2
nd overall), 200 IM (1:56.20, good enough for 6
th overall) and 400 IM (4:04.38, good enough for 2
nd place) …
As a Freshman (2018-19) – at the PCSC Championships, won the 200 breast with a time of 2:03.14 (career best)….also took second in the 400 IM (4:01.07, career best and good for fourth best at FPU all-time)….in FPU’s dual meet sweep of UC Santa Cruz, he picked up three victories for the Sunbirds in the 200 fly (1:55.55), 200 breast (2:08.18) and 400 IM (4:12.48).
Prior to FPU - Prepped at Rio Americano High School and spent four years on the varsity team....named MVP and earned the Coaches Award.
Personal - Son of Jill and Scott Sewell....person he most admires is his grandpa....favorite movie is Fast Times at Ridgemont High....enjoys listening to Don’t You Forget About Me by Simple Minds....person he would most like to meet is Keira Knightley....enjoys snowboarding as a hobby....Dylan is a business administration major.
