Personal - Jake was born and raised in Fresno...His parents are Bill and Barbara Brotsis...He has a younger sister, Hannah...His father also attended FPU...His favorite books include "Jurassic Park" and "Swiss Family Robinson"...His favorite movies include "King Kong" and "Indiana Jones"...HIs hobbies include visiting zoos and wildlife parks, collecting pet reptiles, painting and drawing, kayaking, long-boarding, and surfing...He has been a volunteer at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for five years...His home church is St. James Anglican Cathedral...Jake is an Environmental Science major...His career goal is to become a field zoologist, the director/curator of a zoo, or to have his own wildlife show like "The Crocodile Hunter".

Prior to FPU - Jake is a graduate of Central High School East Campus...His water polo coach was Rick Klatt...He participated in varsity water polo and swimming all four years...He was captain of both teams in his senior year...He was named Most Improved Player in his freshman year and Most Outstanding Defensive Player in his junior and senior year...He was a class valedictorian.
