Biography
Prior to FPU - Played one season of water polo at Golden West College for head coach Scott Taylor, where he won a state championship....also was a member of the swim team...spent three seasons on the varsity water polo team at Buchanan High School under head coach Dave Pickford....led the Bears to a Valley championship in 2009....was also a member of the swim team in high school.
Personal - Son of Dave and Denise Pickford....his brother Brian played water polo at UC Irvine....enjoys watching the TV show True Detective....favorite book is "1984"....enjoys listening to Led Zeppelin....Garrett is a history major with plans to become a teacher and a coach.
