As a Freshman (2019) – appeared in six games for the Sunbirds … spent 64 minutes in goal … had 22 saves … accumulated a save percentage of .512.
Prior to FPU - Spent one season at San Joaquin Delta College under head coach Mike Maroney....named All-American in his only season....prepped at Saint Mary’s High School under head coach Jeff Hoornaert…. Helped win a Bronze medal in the bronze division of the JO’s.
Personal - Son of Jennifer and Michael Maroney....has two brothers, Tyler and Connor….person he most admires is his older brother Connor....Clay is a business major.
