As a Junior (2012-13) - Appeared in 18 games, shooting 36 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free-throw line...totaled 19 points and 17 rebounds on the season....had four points and two rebounds in win over Hawaii Hilo (1/14).

As a Sophomore (2011-12) - Played in 11 games, making one start at center for the Sunbirds....totaled eight points and nine rebounds....was 1-for-5 from the field and 6-for-12 from the free-throw line....earned first collegiate start at Pacific Union (11/16)....scored four points in three minutes at Point Loma (2/4).

As a Freshman (2010-11) - Appeared in eight games off the bench for the Sunbirds....totaled nine points and 11 rebounds....season-high came when he scored four points in five minutes against NCAA Top-10 BYU (1/1)....played 15 minutes and had four rebounds in win over Pacific Union (11/15).

Prior to FPU- Played four seasons, two years on the varsity squad, at Ripon Christian High School under coach Ron Vander Molen....Averaged 20.4 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior and was named All-Area MVP, All-District and League MVP...Also shot 75 percent from the free throw line....team was section runner-up....Given the ACSI award for Christian service and leadership.

Personal- Born February 25, 1992....parents are Bruce and Renae....has two brothers, Jared and Jordan....his mother played volleyball at Dordt College....Greatest sports thrill was playing for a section title in Arco Arena....Chose FPU for the proximity to home and its good Kinesiology program....Favorite food is pasta and favorite movie is the Italian Job....Listens to the band "Boston"....Favorite team is the LA Lakers....Hobbies include fishing and camping....Attends Almond Valley CRC....Tyler is a Pre-Physical Therapy major with plans of getting a master's and going into physical therapy.
