Personal - Nico was born and raised in Yakima, WA...He is the son of Eliseo Sandoval and Susan Wells...He has three brothers...His favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant, and his favorite team is the Los Angeles Lakers...His favorite food is Mexican food...He likes to listen to hip hop and rap...Nico is a Mathematics major...His career goal is to become a high school math teacher and a basketball coach.

Prior to FPU - Nico is a graduate of A.C. Davis High School...His basketball coach was Eli Juarez...He was named First Team All-Conference in his junior and senior years...Nico transfered to FPU from Yakima Valley Community College...His coach was Ray Funk...His team earned 1st place in the NWAACC in 2007-08 and 3rd place in 2008-09...He was named 2nd team All-NWAACC Tournament in 2008, 1st Team East Region in 2008-09, and 1st Team All-NWAACC Tournament in 2009.
