Prior to FPU - Played one season at Point Park University (NAIA), appearing in nine games off the bench....prepped at McMain High School in New Orleans, playing four seasons on varsity for coach David Lewis....averaged 18 points, five assists and three rebounds per game as a senior....earned all-metro and all-district honors....scored 37 points against rival Ben Franklin High School.

Personal - Originally from New Orleans....son of Herbert and Rose Cooper....has four siblings: Eugene, Herbert Jr., Harold and Helena....favorite food is hot sausage sandwich on french bread....favorite TV show is The Wire....enjoys listening to Rick Ross, Jay-Z and artists from New Orleans....favorite sports team are the New Orleans Hornets and Saints....person he would like to meet is NBA commissioner David Stern....Chris is a kinesiology major with hopes of playing professionally and one day owning a business.
