As a Junior (2015) - Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen for the national champion Sunbirds.....tossed six innings, striking out five....tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts in NCCAA World Series opening win over Toccoa Falls.

As a Sophomore (2014) - Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen for the Sunbirds, tossing 7 2/3 innings and striking out four while posting a 1.17 ERA for the second straight season....tossed scoreless innings against Cal State Stanislaus, Academy of Art, Holy Names and conference champion Dixie State, as well as the team's World Series pool play shutout against Trinity Christian.

As a Freshman (2013) - Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen for the Sunbirds....tossed 7 2/3 innings and struck out six while posting a 1.17 ERA....threw scoreless innings against Hawaii Hilo, Cal State L.A., Academy of Art and Dixie State....tossed two scoreless innings and struck out three in win over La Sierra (3/26).

Prior to FPU - A graduate of San Joaquin Memorial High School...played three years of varsity baseball for coach Pete Dalena...played two years of varsity basketball for coach Pat Geil, winning the Valley Championship his senior year.

Personal - Born May 30...son of Tom and Mary Kay Hackett...has two sisters, Annie and Alyssa...greatest sports thrill was winning the Valley Championship in basketball...the person he admires the most is his father, Dr. Hackett...favorite food is fried calamari...favorite sports team is the San Francisco Giants...favorite athlete is Mike Trout...hobbies include cooking and playing video games...attends St. Anthony’s of Padua Church in Fresno.
