As a Junior (2011) - One of the team's primary arms out of the bullpen....set a school record by posting a 1.69 ERA in 32 innings pitched....appeared in 21 games, making one start....struck out 32 batters and held opponents to a .237 batting average (2nd on team)....struck out 7 batters over back-to-back relief appearances at Cal State Monterey Bay (2/11-12)....threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen at Point Loma Nazarene (3/26)....earned the win at Cal State Stanislaus (4/12), throwing 3 scoreless innings and striking out 5 consecutive batters....named NAIA & GSAC Scholar Athlete.

Prior to FPU - Greg began his collegiate baseball career at California Baptist before transferring to FPU....played four years of varsity baseball at Fresno Christian High School for coach Bill McGowen, playing pitcher and infield...He also played varsity football for two years.

Personal - Greg was born and raised in Fresno...He is the son of Allen and Caryn Kilgore...He has an older brother, Brent and sister in-law Alicia...favorite food is panini sandwiches; also likes Chinese, Italian and numerous other foods....favorite books are the Bible, Don't Waste Your Life, and Dug Down Deep...hobbies include fishing, backpacking and horseback riding....pre-game ritual is Big League Chew bubble gum...favorite team is the San Francisco Giants and favorite athlete is Tim Tebow...the people he most admires are his parents and John Piper....listens to Lecrae and Need to Breathe....Greg traveled to Nicaragua in the summer of 2009 with Athletes in Action Baseball and played in New York in the summer of 2010....Greg is a Biblical Studies major with a History minor...His future plans include attending seminary or smuggling Bibles into foreign countries.
