As a Junior (2010)- Enjoyed a breakout season, finishing among the team leaders in every offensive category....started all 47 games he played in and batted .352 in 176 at-bats....hit seven home runs, 20 doubles and had 47 RBI....slugged .619, scored 51 runs and was 7-for-9 in stolen base attempts....had one of the best days at the plate in GSAC history, going 6-for-8 with 3 home runs, 9 RBI and six runs scored in a win over Biola (4/21)....went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and a homer in win over Academy of Art (2/19)....went 2-for-4 with a home run in the team's playoff loss to British Columbia (5/19)....enters the 2011 season on a 9-game hitting streak.

As a Sophomore (2009) - Andrew played in 40 of the Sunbirds' 60 games, including 24 starts...He batted .181 on the season with 72 appearances at the plate...Andrew accumulated 7 RBI, scored 19 runs, and hit one home run...His on-base and fielding percentages were .385 and .952 respectively.

Prior to FPU - Andrew is a graduate of Kingsburg High School...He played baseball, football and basketball...His baseball team was Valley Runner-Up in his junior and senior year...He was named Central Sequoia League MVP in 2007.

Personal - Andrew was born in Bakersfield but calls Kingsburg his home...His nickname is "Dougy"...He is the son of John and Lori Douglas...He has two sisters, Amy and Alyse...His favorite athletes include LeBron James, Ichiro Suzuki and Albert Pujols...His favorite books include "Lord of the Rings" and anything by C.S. Lewis...likes movies with Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston, John Wayne or Jack Black...favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Dodgers...has traveled to Japan...hobbies include collecting baseball cards, reading and spending time with family...His home church is Kingsburg Covenant Church...Andrew is a Psychology major.
